    The purpose of this charter is to inform you about how we process your personal data.

    Rest assured, we comply, in the collection and management of your data with the 1978 law called "Informatique et Libertés", and now with the European regulation of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter, the "GDPR").

    When you use our website accessible at the address bewifi.co (hereinafter, the "Site"), we may ask you to provide us with personal data about yourself in order to use our services (hereinafter, the "Services").

    The term "personal data" refers to all data that identifies you as an individual.

  3. What personal data does Beacon & Eggs collect?

    As part of our activity, we collect a certain amount of information about you, including your nickname, mobile number, geolocation, date of birth, profile picture, email, company name, postal address, city, presentation text, contacts, data relating to your presence on social networks or third-party services related to your professional activity, wifi codes, messages posted on the application.

    1. On what basis(s) is your data collected and used?

      • Contract

        This collection is necessary in order to perform the contract entered into when you use our Services on our Site.

      • Legitimate interest

        When you voluntarily provide us with personal data, we collect it in order to better respond to your requests for information on our Site.

      • Legal obligation

        When the processing of your data is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject.

    2. For what purpose(s) is your data collected and used?

      • Constitute a file users, registrants and prospects.
        Manage your access to certain Services accessible on the Site, and their use.

      • Develop commercial statistics and attendance of our Site.
        Personalize the responses to your requests for information.
        Manage reviews of individuals about the Services or the content of the Site.
        Sending information or prospecting.

      • Compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations

      • Measure the number of visits to the Site, the number of pages viewed and the activity of Users.

    Please note that your personal data will never be transferred, rented or exchanged for the benefit of third parties.

  7. Retention period of personal data

    The data is kept for the duration necessary for the performance of our mission in the context of the use of the Services of the Site, and for a period of:

    • Three (3) years from your unsubscription, or from our last contact with you, with regard to the use of the data for prospecting purposes,
    • Five (5) years from the end of your unsubscription with regard to compliance with bewifi's legal and regulatory obligations, as well as to enable proof of a right or contract to be established.
  8. Security

    Don't worry! We (and our subcontractors) have taken all necessary precautions, as well as appropriate organisational and technical measures to maintain the security, integrity and confidentiality of your personal data.

  9. Hosting

    Your data is kept and stored for the duration of its processing on servers of the company Clever Cloud, located in France, and on servers of the company Firebase, located in Germany.

    As part of the tools we use (see article "Recipients of the data collected" concerning our subcontractors), your data may be subject to transfers outside the European Union. The transfer of your data in this context is secured by means of the following tools:

    • Either this data is transferred to a country that has been deemed to offer an adequate level of protection by a decision of the European Commission;
    • Either we have concluded with our subcontractors a specific contract governing the transfers of your data outside the European Union, on the basis of the standard contractual clauses between a controller and a processor approved by the European Commission.
  10. Your rights

    • Right of access

      You have the right to access all of your personal data at any time.

    • Right to rectification

      You have the right to rectify your inaccurate, incomplete or outdated personal data at any time.

    • Right to limitation

      You have the right to obtain the restriction of the processing of your personal data in certain cases defined in Art. 18 GDPR.

    • Right to portability

      You have the right to receive your personal data in a readable format and to request their transfer to the recipient of your choice.

    • Right to be forgotten

      You have the right to demand that your personal data be erased, and to prohibit any future collection.

    • Right to lodge a complaint

      With a competent supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL), if you consider that the processing of your personal data constitutes a violation of the applicable texts.

    • Right to object

      You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. Please note, however, that we may maintain their processing despite this opposition, for legitimate reasons or the defence of legal claims.
      Regarding prospecting, you can oppose it at any time via the unsubscribe link located at the bottom of each of our prospecting emails.

    • Right to set guidelines after your death

      relating to the storage, erasure and communication of your personal data, and designating a person responsible for their execution where appropriate.
      You can send them to a digital trusted third party certified by the CNIL when it comes to general guidelines, or to the firm at the contact details below for your specific instructions.
      You can change or revoke your guidelines at any time.

  11. Entry into force

    This charter entered into force on February 16, 2022.

  12. Changes

    We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to modify this Policy, in whole or in part, at any time.

    These amendments will come into force as of the publication of the new charter. Your use of the Site following the entry into force of these modifications will constitute recognition and acceptance of the new charter. Otherwise, and if this new charter does not suit you, you will no longer have to access the Site.
